Editorial Note

This online facsimile of Llyfr Aneirin has as its source the 1908 edition published by J. Gwenogvryn Evans as Facsimile & Text of the Book of Aneirin. Evans provides us with a facsimile of the manuscript, a literal transcription, a corrected text, a translation into English, and an essay on the subject. However, for current purposes, we are only including his facsimile. The index above gives pop-up links to each of the thirty-eight pages of the manuscript included in Evans’ edition. Each image has been scanned at a resolution of 200dpi, generally yielding JPG files under 400K.
